A couple of weeks back, the Modulek team had an especially active and productive week, attending four major industry events across the country; all focused on key sectors where modular construction is making a real impact.
Representing Modulek were Stephen Pester (Commercial Director), Dan Pester (Sales Director), Jamie Goddard (Business Development Manager) and Ian Grundy (Non-Executive Marketing Director). The team divided and conquered, covering a diverse range of events and forums, each offering valuable opportunities to build relationships, raise awareness and stay ahead of industry trends- all while aligning directly with Modulek’s core sectors.
We’re proud to report that we came away with 8 new enquiries and 7 strong prospects, all of which warrant careful follow up- a strong return that reflects the growing interest in our innovative modular solutions.

National Facilities Management in the Public Sector Conference and Exhibition
Stephen and Dan kicked off the week at this key event for the public sector and local authorities. It provided a valuable platform to showcase Modulek’s capabilities to decision-makers responsible for public estate management. While not geared towards immediate project wins, the event was excellent for networking and long-term positioning.
Our presence reinforced Modulek’s credibility in delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions for public sector buildings; an area where speed, quality and disruption-free construction offers clear advantages.

Holiday and Leisure Park Development Forum
Dan and Jamie attended this exciting forum targeting the holiday and leisure park industry, a core growth area for Modulek’s high-spec modular luxury lodges. The speed networking format was a fantastic way for us to meet a wide range of people in a short space of time, with follow-up meetings and calls scheduled soon!
Importantly, there was a noticeable shift in market perception: where price point was a barrier in previous years, this time our offering was positively received. It was clear the market is moving toward quality and long-term value, right where Modulek excels. Several attendees have already expressed interest in viewing our lodges in person, reinforcing our growing reputation in this competitive space.

Physical Activities Development Forum
Stephen took part in this engaging forum focused on sports and leisure infrastructure, another key sector for Modulek. Held at the same venue as the Holiday & Leisure Forum, the combined footfall created a lively and productive atmosphere. We generated three direct enquiries and engaged with a number of stakeholders showing high levels of interest in modular solutions for sports facilities.
This event highlighted how our innovation and proven track record in the sports sector positions Modulek as a go-to partner for fast, flexible and fit-for-purpose sports buildings, a space where demand continues to grow.

LHC Framework Event
Ian attended the LHC Framework Event; an important opportunity to strengthen our presence within one of the public sector’s most influential procurement routes.
The event gave us deeper insight into how to maximise our position on the framework and helped strengthen relationships with key stakeholders. Being seen at events like these supports our goal of brand leadership and demonstrates our commitment to serving clients efficiently through recognised procurement channels.
Pre-Event Golf Networking
In a fun twist to the week, our team took part in a round of golf ahead of the forums. This relaxed environment allowed for honest, open conversations and proved to be an eye-opener in terms of how quickly strong business relationships can be built outside of the traditional conference setting.

Strategic Alignment, Industry Leadership
More than just a week of networking, these events represented a significant step forward in Modulek’s strategic direction.
Each forum and event aligned directly with our core sectors; from local authorities to lodges, sports infrastructure and framework partnerships. Our presence, insights and new relationships reaffirm Modulek’s role as a forward-thinking leader in modular construction.
Beyond the conversations, the week offered us valuable insight into market shifts, from changing perceptions in the lodge market to the increasing appetite for modular sports solutions. These insights will directly inform how we continue to innovate and serve our clients across the UK.
As we look forward to the next wave of events, we’re more focused than ever on delivering high-performance, future-ready modular buildings that meet the evolving needs of our strategic sectors.
